Cornwall Pride invited us to take part in the Cultural Pride Day as part of the three day long pride celebration in 2021.

We headed down with our trusty red tent on Friday 27th August and set up ready to welcome everyone that visited Killacourt in Newquay.

We had so many young visitors we ran out of materials. But The Works shop rescued us with more canvases.

The young people and their parents loved sitting on the cliff top painting and watching the world go by. We met some lovely new young people and more visitors from up country.

We had a Visitor from Newlyn Art Gallery and Exchange – Sharp. Sharp brought some large banners for the young people to express themselves on and use in the parade the following day.

It was the most colourful and fun day which we all thoroughly enjoyed. We also welcomed some new volunteers and regulars.
