Street Photography Sessions in Newquay
Discover the art of street photography with our weekly sessions in Newquay! Starting on July 28th, 2024, join us every Sunday at Killacourt at 6:30 PM for five weeks. Whether you’re an experienced photographer or just starting out, our sessions are designed to help you capture the unique charm of Newquay through your lens.
We’ll provide analog 35mm cameras with black and white film, but young photographers are also welcome to bring their phones or digital cameras. Each week, we’ll focus on a different theme, allowing you to explore various aspects of street photography:
- Week 1: People
- Week 2: Architecture
- Week 3: Abstract/Cross Ups
- Week 4: Landscapes
- Week 5: Shadow and Light
These sessions offer a supportive environment to improve your photography skills, share your work, and gain inspiration from fellow enthusiasts.
Unfortunately, we cannot run these sessions for free this year like we did last summer, as we had the National Lottery YAC on the Road grant. We are currently waiting for grant money to be pledged, and your participation will help us continue to offer these creative experiences to the community.
Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to enhance your photography talents while exploring the beautiful streets of Newquay. Mark your calendars and join our vibrant community of photographers!
