Ridding the stigmas of a label to make our world accepting, understanding and inclusive.
We are EXCITED to announce that we are holding our international 2023 art exhibition on Easter Sunday 9th-12th April at Old Bakery Studios in Truro, Cornwall. Neurodiversity is a term that labels our entire human race as a whole and within that we are all unique made up of different learning styles and needs. We are asking artists around the world to create and submit something in any medium of the arts which represents how they are wired up as a human beings and how they navigate our neurodiverse world in work, art and play. The intent of this exhibition is to rid the stigmas and prejudice that are attached to labels from a diagnosis such as Autism, ADHD, OCD, Tourettes etc.
We want to open the conversation on how we can make this world more accepting, understanding and inclusive.
Please read carefully before submitting:
- If you would like to enter our exhibition please submit your art by 20th March 2023. Our panel of judges will then make a decision and we will respond to you by email if you are successful on 26th march 2023.
- We have limited places in the physical exhibition however there will also be extra spaces on our online gallery.
- Successful applicants will then have until Tuesday 4th of April 2023 to send their artwork to our PO Box.
- If you want your art piece returned after the exhibition then you would need you to take responsibility for collecting or organising a courier. We can not take any responsibility for your items.
- We will email you the PO BOX address when our panel has selected the entries.
- Remember If you are not successful this year please do not take this personally. You are incredible and the fact that you created and submitted for this important cause we applaud you and will look forward to your submission in our next exhibition.
- We will have a ticketed red carpet grand opening evening on Easter Sunday with all sorts of entertainment food and drink.
- We are asking everyone to buy tickets including the artists, event organisers and volunteers as this will be all going into the charity.
